The Terminal (rxvt)
The Terminal application is a modified version of
rxvt, which is standard with most Linux distributions. It works
about as you'd expect. For a lot of things, it's inconvenient
that there's no way to stroke control characters in the Agenda's
handwriting recognition. And of course, the size of the screen
is a significant limitation. But basically, it works fine.
The screenshots below show the handwriting recognition area at
the bottom (a separate app), and have
rxvt configured not to use a scrollbar. (The default is to use
a scrollbar.)

Bugs and annoyances
Most of my annoyances with the Terminal app have to do with the
handwriting recognition; see
my HWR and keyboard page for details.
