At Ko 'Olina Beach with Tigris, 2003.11.05

On Tuesday of my November 2003 visit to O'ahu, Tigris and I went to Ko 'Olina Beach, a series of lagoons on a resort. (In Hawai'i, beachfront property owners are required to allow public access to the beach, so anybody can go use resort or hotel beaches, as long as there's parking.) The beach was a bit manicured for my taste, but it was still awfully pretty. The sun was lovely (I got sunburnt just a bit on my back), the water was comfortable (although cooler than the last time I'd been here), and out on the rock structures that separate the lagoon from open sea there were these nifty crabs, the largest the size of my outstretched hand, that I really wish I'd been able to get a picture of.

My camera hadn't been adjusted from Eastern Time yet, so the filenames on these pictures are five hours later than they should be.
