We rented dorm rooms at Imperial College, Kensington, for our time in London (except for the last night on our way back from Holland). This was mine. They were quite nice, and came with breakfast, and the location was excellent.

A typical black London taxicab. They're a bit larger than normal cars, and instead of the left-hand (passenger's) front seat they have a space for luggage next to the driver.
